CONTENT CREATION

A Season of Content

Finding time to create good content when you're busy running a business or organisation isn't easy. A Season of Content is designed to take some of that pressure away.

We'll plan a day around your business, place or project, creating a varied collection of photography and short-form video that you can draw on over the weeks and months ahead.

The result is a bank of natural, useful content for your website, social media, newsletters and wider marketing.

One shoot. Plenty to work with.

Before the shoot, we'll talk about what you do, who you're trying to reach and what you have coming up.

From there, I'll plan the day around the content that will be most useful to you. That might mean capturing the people behind the business, the experience of staying with you, a new product or service, the landscape around you, everyday details, behind-the-scenes moments or simply a better sense of what it feels like to be there.

Because I work across photography, video and digital marketing, I'm thinking about how the content will actually be used as I create it: from wide website imagery to vertical video, social posts, newsletters and future campaigns.

Your Season of Content Day might include:

  • 30–50 professionally edited photographs

  • Short vertical video clips for Reels, Stories and TikTok

  • A small selection of edited short-form videos

  • Wide, detail and behind-the-scenes imagery

  • People, place, products and experiences

  • Content for your website, social media, newsletters and press

We'll agree the priorities beforehand, so the exact mix will depend on what your business needs most.

How it works

01. We plan

We'll have a call before the shoot to talk through your business, your audience and what you'd like the content to help you do. We'll also look ahead at anything you have coming up over the next few months so we can make the most of the day.

02. I come to you

I'll spend the day with you, photographing and filming a mix of planned content and the natural moments that happen along the way.

The aim isn't to make everything look overly staged or polished. It's to create content that feels like your business and gives people a genuine sense of the place, people or experience behind it.

03. You have a bank of content

After the shoot, I'll edit and organise everything and deliver your finished content ready for you to use. Instead of starting from scratch every time you need to post, update your website or send a newsletter, you'll have a library of good material to return to.

Who is this for?

This is particularly suited to small businesses and organisations that have plenty worth sharing but don't always have the time, people or photography skills to keep creating content themselves.

I particularly enjoy working with:

  • Accommodation and hospitality businesses

  • Outdoor and nature-based businesses

  • Tourism organisations and destinations

  • Community-led projects

  • Heritage and cultural organisations

  • Independent Scottish businesses

A Season of Content Day from £650

Every business is different, so we'll agree what would be most useful before the shoot.

If you need content across several locations, multiple days of filming and photography, or a larger seasonal campaign, I can put together a more tailored commission.

Travel within Aberdeen/Shire is included. Travel and accommodation for work further afield, including island projects, can be added to your quote.

Need some fresh content?

Tell me a little about your business, where you're based and what you'd like help with. We can work out what would be a good fit.

  • We would thoroughly recommend working with Katrina. Her combination of amazing photos and engaging social posts made our campaign a great success.
